“Bring Me A Star I Don’t Know” by Eddie Foy III

A small but dedicated team of people have been working for the past five years or so to make Eddie’s book a reality.  Most recently in 2010, Brian Morey and Melanie Tripiciano have joined the effort and contributed the Eddie Foy III website and marketing effort for the benefit of all.

Catherine Burroughs, well-known scholar from Wells College and Cornell University, took the helm last year and began editing and working directly with Eddie on the book. Her remarkable work ethic has brought the elements of the project together. Soon Eddie and Catherine will have the first draft of the manuscript completed.

We all believe that “Bring Me A Star I Don’t Know” is an essential contribution to entertainment and American History. It is an important story for everyone. The scope of the book includes all people with “dreams” and how they realize these dreams.  The book has life-wisdom for all, and even though it is from the point of view of a Hollywood casting director, it has universal appeal. Eddie's casual, straight-off-the-cuff style and tenor includes every man, every woman, and every person.

“Bring Me A Star I Don’t Know” is a book that all can enjoy and relate to from any walk of life. It is a powerful statement on human “life” wisdom.
